ನ್ಯಾನೋ ಕತೆ
ಋಣ
ನಾನಾಗ ಎರಡನೇ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಸ್ಲೇಟು ತುಂಡಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆ ತುಂಡು ಸ್ಲೇಟನ್ನೇ ಹಿಡಿದು ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ನೋಡಿದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ರಾವ್ ರಿಗೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟು, ಬೇಸರ ಒಮ್ಮೆಲೇ ಬಂತು! ನನ್ನ ಕೈಲಿದ್ದ ತುಂಡು ಸ್ಲೇಟನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಬಿಸಾಕಿ, ಯಾವುದೋ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ದುಡ್ಡು ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಹೊಸ ಸ್ಲೇಟು ತಂದು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು!
ಅವರ ಋಣ ತೀರಿಸುವುದು ಬಾಕಿಯಿದೆ....

Debt
One of the teacher called Krishna Murthy Rao was a kind and hot. He used to teach well. Once when I was a student in class two, I had no slate to write. My slate was broke up and I waswriting in a small piece of that slate. He came to me!!
Gazed at me angrily, but his pity was in his eyes.. He took the slate forcefully from my little hands. Threw it out into the portico..!!
Gave the amount from his pocket to an elder boy and told him to buy a new slate for me..
I am still in his debt...
