ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲ ನಾಯಕರು ಹಿರಿಯರು ಹೋರಾಡಿ
ಬಂತು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ
ಹಿರಿಯರು ಕಿರಿಯರು ಜತೆಗೂಡಿ
ಬಂತು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ//
ಹಾಳಾದ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳ ಕಟ್ಟಲು,
ಹಲವಾರು ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳ ತೆರೆಯಲು,
ದಟ್ಟಡವಿಯ ಕಡಿಯಲು
ಬಂತು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ//
ಜಾತಿ ಮತಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಹೋರಾಡಲು,
ರಾಜ್ಯ-ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಕಿತ್ತಾಡಲು,
ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಲು
ಬಂತು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ//
ನಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಸಂಘ ಕಟ್ಟಲು,
ಗಲ್ಲಿ ಗಲ್ಲಿಯಲಿ ಮತ ಕೇಳಲು,
ಮತ ಯಾಚಿಸಿ ಪೊಳ್ಳು ಭರವಸೆ ಕೊಡಲು
ಬಂತು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ//
ಹೊಸ ಹೊಸ ಪಕ್ಷ ಕಟ್ಟಲು,
ಮತ ಹಾಕಲು,ಹಾಕದೆ ಇರಲು,
ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದ ಸುಡಲು
ಬಂತು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ//
